In our laboratory, we are interested in how auxin, a plant hormone, controls plant growth. We focus on the role of auxin in photomorphogenesis, gravity response and root growth. We are also investigating auxin biosynthesis pathways, developing auxin biosynthesis inhibitors, and conducting transcriptome analysis studies of genes that respond to auxin.
Our laboratory recruits graduate students, graduate research students, and postdoctoral fellows as needed.
